About Stardom
World Wonder Ring Stardom is the largest and most prestigious women's professional wrestling promotion in Japan. Founded in 2010, Stardom has grown into a global powerhouse under the Bushiroad group, the same parent company that owns New Japan Pro-Wrestling. The promotion is known for its blend of athleticism, storytelling, and the "Bright, Intense, Innovative, Beautiful" philosophy. Stardom runs major events at the Nippon Budokan, Ryogoku Sumo Hall, Yokohama Arena, and Korakuen Hall throughout the year.
Current champions (as of April 2026)
Saya Kamitani is the World of Stardom Champion (Red Belt). She is aiming for her tenth consecutive defense at the upcoming Yokohama Arena show on April 26. Konami holds the Wonder of Stardom Championship (White Belt). She will defend against Cinderella Tournament winner Hanan at the same event. Hanako is the Future of Stardom Champion, having defended successfully against Yuria Hime at the Cinderella Tournament quarterfinals on March 11. The Goddesses of Stardom Tag Team Champions and Artist of Stardom Champions will be defended at the April 26 show as well.
ALL STAR GRAND QUEENDOM 2026 (April 26 at Yokohama Arena)
Stardom's biggest event of the first half of 2026 takes place on Sunday, April 26 at Yokohama Arena. This is the promotion's annual spring supershow, featuring the top championship matches of the year. Doors open at 1:40 PM local time. The main card starts at 3:00 PM.
World of Stardom Championship: Saya Kamitani (c) vs. Sayaka Kurara. This is a rematch from their May 2025 encounter. Kamitani is aiming for her tenth defense. Kurara won the right to challenge by pinning Kamitani in a tag team match on March 15 in Yokohama.
Wonder of Stardom Championship: Konami (c) vs. Hanan. Hanan won the 2026 Cinderella Tournament, earning this title shot. After her victory, Konami sprayed black paint all over Hanan's Cinderella dress on stage, turning a moment of triumph into humiliation. Hanan is seeking her first White Belt championship.
Special Singles Match: Saori Anou vs. Fuwa-chan. Fuwa-chan made her pro-wrestling debut in December 2025, just four months ago. She earned a big opportunity after her first singles match against Anou ended in a double disqualification. A rookie facing a 10-year veteran. This is a true test.

Stardom: American Dream in Las Vegas (April 17, 2026)
Stardom returns to the United States on Friday, April 17, 2026 as part of Paragon: Palms SlamFest at the Pearl Theater in the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas. The event is called Stardom: American Dream. The show features top stars including Maika, Starlight Kid, and Maki Itoh. This is Stardom's first US show of 2026 and coincides with WrestleMania 42 weekend. The show starts at 3:00 PM PT on April 17.
Cinderella Tournament 2026 (March 6-15, 2026)
The 12th annual Cinderella Tournament took place from March 6 to March 15, 2026 across five nights in Nagoya, Tokyo, and Yokohama. 32 participants competed in a single-elimination format. The winner receives a Wonder of Stardom Championship shot. Past winners include Mayu Iwatani, Toni Storm, Giulia, Saya Kamitani, and Mirai.
Winner: Hanan defeated Rina in the final on March 15 at Yokohama Budokan in 20 minutes to win her second Cinderella Tournament title. Hanan previously won the tournament in 2024.
Final bracket results: Semifinals saw Hanan defeat Aya Sakura, and Rina submit Miyu Amasaki. Quarterfinals featured Hanan over Maki Itoh, Aya Sakura over Rian, Rina over Sayaka Kurara, and Miyu Amasaki over Hina.
The tournament used a special rule: matches had a 10-minute time limit. If no winner was decided, both competitors were eliminated. Wins could come by pinfall, submission, or over-the-top-rope elimination.

Notable wrestlers and storylines for 2026
Saya Kamitani is the ace of Stardom. She has been on a dominant run as World of Stardom Champion, approaching her tenth defense. Her challenger Sayaka Kurara represents the new generation. Maika is one of the promotion's top stars, regularly main-eventing major shows. Starlight Kid is a fan favorite known for her high-flying style. Maki Itoh has become a cult hero internationally, known for her charisma and social media presence. Syuri remains a top contender despite not holding gold in 2026. Natsuko Tora leads the H.A.T.E. faction. Cosmic Angels, led by Tam Nakano and Saori Anou, is one of the promotion's most popular stables. The roster is the deepest it has ever been.
International partnerships and US expansion
Stardom has strong relationships with international promotions. The April 17 Las Vegas show is part of Paragon: Palms SlamFest, alongside TJPW, CMLL, HOG, and Maple Leaf Pro Wrestling. Stardom talent regularly appears on AEW and ROH programming. Maika, Starlight Kid, and Mei Seira toured CMLL in Mexico in early 2026. The promotion is actively expanding its global footprint.
Stardom World streaming service
Stardom World is the official streaming platform for World Wonder Ring Stardom. A subscription costs 920 yen per month (approximately $6 USD or £5 GBP). The service is available worldwide. Stardom World includes all major pay-per-views, including the Yokohama Arena show, Cinderella Tournament, 5STAR Grand Prix, and Goddesses of Stardom Tag League. It also includes the extensive Stardom video library dating back to 2011.
The platform does not have a dedicated app. It is accessed through web browsers on desktop and mobile devices. English commentary is available for major events. The user experience was revamped in 2025 for smoother navigation. Payment is accepted via credit card and debit card. Stardom World also includes New Blood shows and select house shows.
TrillerTV for US events
TrillerTV (formerly FITE) streams Stardom's US events. Stardom: American Dream on April 17 is available as part of the Paragon: Palms SlamFest All-Access Pass, which includes five shows across two days. Individual event passes are also available. English commentary team
Walker Stewart is the lead English commentator for Stardom. He signed a contract with the promotion in 2025 to serve as Director of Global PR & Communications while continuing his commentary duties. Stewart is also the lead English commentator for New Japan Pro-Wrestling. He has been the English voice of Stardom since 2024.
