About Adriatic ABA League
The Adriatic ABA League is the top regional basketball competition in the Balkans. It runs across Serbia, Croatia, Slovenia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, and North Macedonia. As of April 2026, the season is deep into the playoff race, with Partizan sitting at the top of the standings.
Most famous teams
Partizan and Crvena Zvezda (Red Star) from Belgrade. Their Eternal Derby is one of the fiercest rivalries in European basketball. Then you have Budućnost from Montenegro, Cedevita Olimpija out of Slovenia, and the Croatian clubs Zadar, Split, and Cibona.
Big names this season
The rosters shift fast in this league. Partizan and Red Star usually stack NBA-caliber talent. Budućnost and Cedevita Olimpija bring in experienced Americans and strong regional players. It's a proving ground for guys trying to make it to the EuroLeague or the NBA.
Season schedule
The season kicked off in October 2025. Regular season wrapped up in February. We're now in the playoff stage, with the Top 8 battling it out. The Finals are set to wrap up in June 2026.

Viewership
No official global numbers for 2026. But the Belgrade derby alone sells out 18,000 seats and pulls huge TV ratings across the Balkans. The league is the biggest basketball property in the region, hands down.
